The first 20 eligible members of the public who visit Ruffians Barbers between 6pm and 7pm will be able to enter the venue and enter their name into the prize draw to win a free tattoo by Sans Patrie.
At 7pm, the draw will take place and the first 3 names to be picked at random via excel randomiser will be announced by the DJ host. Each will receive a thumbnail-sized tattoo during the event from a choice of 6 designs by Delphin Musquet. The tattoo designs will only be applied to Tattoo recipients’ arms.
Entrants may not drink alcohol if they wish to receive a tattoo. Please be aware that the decision to take a tattoo prize is the responsibility of each winner. Before each winner can receive a tattoo, they must read, fill out and sign (a) a pre-treatment questionnaire and consent formand (b) a waiver and consent confirmation in relation to the Promoter. This promotion is open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees and the immediate families of the Promoter, its subsidiaries, other group companies, its agents, or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.

Winners must complete pre-treatment questionnaire and consent forms, which contain further eligibility requirements in order to receive a tattoo – please see ‘Prizes’ section below for more detail.

The Sailor Jerry x Sans Patrie Tattoo Drop event will take place from 6pm to 10pm on 21/10/2024.

Entry: |
To enter, visit Ruffians Barbers in Shoreditch, 46-48 Rivington St, London EC2A 3QP during the promotional period. The first 20 eligible members of the public who visit Ruffians Barbers between 6pm and 7pm will be allowed to enter the event venue. Once inside venue, the 20 members of the public are then allowed to enter the prize draw, via giving their names to Exposure Promotions Limited (the Promoter’s events agency) who in turn enter their names into an iPad.
At 7pm, the draw will take place and the first 3 names picked at random, via the Microsoft Excel randomiser function, shall win a tattoo prize. If (a) any entrant leaves the venue once or before tattooing begins, (b) any winner is unable to receive a tattoo based on the pre-treatment questionnaire or (c) a winner changes their mind, they will forfeit their tattoo session, and another name will be chosen at random via the same process.

Prizes: |
Each tattoo winner will be able to choose a thumbnail-sized tattoo from a pre-approved sheet of 6 designs with the tattoo personally fulfilled by Delphin Musquet. The six designs can be viewed at the end of these terms and conditions (Schedule 1). Tattoos should take approximately 45 minutes to complete. The Tattoo application can only be applied to arms only, and the exact placement will be agreed between the tattoo artist and the individual.
Tattoo sessions for the 3 winners will take place at Ruffians Barbers, 46-48 Rivington St, London EC2A 3QP during the event following the prize draw.
Winners must be over 18 and ID will be requested from all winners to confirm age. The surname and county of residence of each tattoo winner will be requested for the purpose of the winners list if no objection is received. Tattoo prize winner data will be retained as described in clause 15.
Please be aware that the decision to take a tattoo prize is the responsibility of each winner. Those receiving tattoos will be asked to read, fill out and sign (a) Sans Patrie’s standard pre-treatment questionnaire and acceptance agreement and (b) a consent form and waiver in relation to the Promoter to confirm their awareness of any associated risks with receiving a tattoo and their consent.The pre-treatment questionnaire requires individuals to provide information including contact details, date of birth, emergency contact, confirmation that the individual is not under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and certain information on medication and medical conditions. Any individuals under the influence of alcohol and non-prescription drugs will not be eligible to receive a tattoo.Where an individual confirms that they have one of the listed conditions, written consent from their GP would be required before any tattoo is carried out, which may mean the individual is unable to participate in the Tattoo Drop promotion. The tattoo artist’s and the Promoter’s decision is final in relation to the eligibility of individuals to receive a tattoo. Please see ‘data protection’ section below for further information on the collection and use of individuals’ personal data.
The winners are responsible for travel, accommodation and all other expenses not expressly stated in these terms and conditions as being included as part of their prize.

No cash or other alternative prizes will be provided in whole or in part, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar prize, or part of the runner up prize, of equal or greater value. The prizes are non-transferable.

Publicity: |
Winners may be requested but are not obliged to take part in reasonable publicity in connection with this promotion. This may include a request to use a winner’s name and image in connection with such publicity.

Brand Protection |
The winners must not do anything which could, in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter, bring the Promoter or its brand into disrepute before, during or after this promotion.

Winners List: |
The Promoter will make available a list of tattoo winners’ surnames and counties of residence to members of the public or regulators who request such details within 3 months of the closing date of this promotion. Entrants can object to disclosure, or request that disclosure be limited in scope by contacting DataProtection@wgrant.com. We may nevertheless disclose the information to the Advertising Standards Authority if required to do so. You may request a copy of the winners list by emailing DataProtection@wgrant.com. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse such requests.

Verification: |
The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entrants including but not limited to asking for proof of ID (passport, driving licence or equivalent).The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award a prize or withdraw prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify the entrant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the spirit of the promotion, any instructions forming part of this promotion’s entry requirements or otherwise where an entrant has gained unfair advantage in participating or won using fraudulent means.

Liability:

If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, traffic congestion, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, modify or suspend the promotion.
If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these terms and conditions (including but not limited to global or regional health crises, weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, terrorist activity, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, epidemic, pandemic, famine, plague or other natural calamities and acts of God), the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to entrants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or the fulfilment of the prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.

The Promoter’s decision is final with regard to all promotional matters and no correspondence will be entered into. |

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the law of the relevant country for each entrant, and entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the relevant country they reside in.

The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the promotion and for no other purpose, unless we have your consent. Personal details supplied during the event will be collected by Exposure. Any medical information supplied in the pre-procedure questionnaire will only be used to enable the tattoo artist to make an informed decision about the procedure.Your personal details will at all times be kept confidential and in accordance with current Data Protection legislation. Exposure will create a link to the Privacy Statement on the questionnaire. Each winner will be asked to click a ‘tick box’ on the questionnaire to confirm they’ve read the privacy statement.
Data will be stored for 3 months after the close of the promotion before deletion. You can request access to your personal data, or have any inaccuracies rectified, by sending an email to DataProtection@wgrant.com.
