In celebration of Women’s History Month in the U.S. this year, Sailor Jerry wants to celebrate and appreciate women who continue to make immeasurable contributions to the artform. Only 1 in 4 tattoo artists are women, and even fewer shops are women-owned and operated.

Located in Malvern, PA, Eight Bells is a studio that specializes in custom ink. Women owned and run, owner Jess Baker and her shop are pushing out sick twists on American Traditional tattoos. Their name stems from an old sailors tradition, where mates would keep track of time by ringing a certain number of bells. Sounds like a tradition we can get behind!
