My Work Speaks for Itself Design Contest: Britton McFetridge

If you don’t know the name Britton McFetridge you better. He’s been tattooing professionally for 18 years and is the proud owner of Royal Peacock Tattoo Parlor for 12 of those years.

It’s easy to see why his timeless watercolor design crushed the ‘My Work Speaks for Itself’ contest. When coming up with designs for the contest, he thought about working in the toughest images that would complement a Harley-Davidson. “I felt eagles, snakes, and skulls would best embody the spirit of the bike and the rider.” Ain’t he right?

And of course, he’s a Harley riding vet, having owned a 1997 Harley-Davidson Road King for 12 years. “I had it set up Cali-style with large 18” ape hangers, custom paint, low pro seat, lowered stance, and lots of chrome.  It was a fun bike.”
